A quick look into the skiing and the life of Yu Sasaki; Freeride World Tour competitor, father, entrepreneur. It’s no surprise that Yu ended up in a place like Revelstoke; seemingly endless big mountain backcountry terrain, a rad ski area, a shit ton of snow and an awesome town & community in which to raise a family and start a business. This film was beautifully captured and put together Felix Gerx, absolutely getting after it out there with stunning shots as well as capturing who Yu is as a person, not just the skier. I’m looking forward to watching Yu on the FWT this season, keep an eye out, you never know when he might just go massive!
