The fifth and final episode of Maël Ollivier’s ‘Local Freedom’, the crew snags a few more golden hour lines near the hut before heading out of the backcountry and back to civilization. With all lifts closed in France this season due to Covid, it’s great to see these guys still getting after it in the backcountry. They give you a few glimpses of hut life in this one as well, nothing better than spending time off the grid with friends. Almost sad to see this adventure come to an end but I suppose it’s a good thing they left the backcountry as Maël Ollivier is currently the leading the Freeride World Tour with the golden bib after two events as we head into the Fieberbrunn stop this week.
