This unique comp brings shaped jumps and features to a venue with natural cliffs, hits and drops to bring a freestyle-focused freeride comp. The 30 day weather window allows for the best shot at fresh snow and bluebird skies, maximizing what the athletes are able to throw down on these insane features. That coupled with the high-caliber athlete invite list makes this one of the most progressive events in freeskiing. Big things are happening for Backcountry Invitational as they’re expanding this event into a global tour with two southern-hemisphere test events already under their belt.
